Remote Desktop Disconnects

Hello,

I use MS Remote Desktop on Windows 7 to control my laptop.  However, it seems that Remote Desktop has a maximum connection limit of about 99 hours and the process of pulling the laptop out of the cabinet and re-establishing the connection is becoming cumbersome.  Does anyone know why there is this limit on Remote Desktop or how to get rid of it?

Alternatively, could someone recommend a free utility that allows unlimited connection time and control?  I've found several on the web that look like they do the job, but they appear to be aimed at corporations and cost money.

Thanks,

Peter

I used a freeware list below for RDP. It allows you to save your connection profile along with the credential, making it easy to RDP by just double-clicking the icon. You just need to set it once and off you go. Not sure why the need to connect indefinitely, but you may have your reasons. Good luck.

Thanks.  Changing the set time limit seems to be the solution.
