Hello,
Recently we have install Dynamics Navision 2009 R2 client on Terminal Server 2008.

but i have a problem on first openning Navision Client. a have this message.
"There was no endpoint listening at
net.tcp://bookworm:7046/DynamicsNAV/Service that could accept the message. This is often caused by an incorrect address or SOAP action. See InnerException, if present, for more details"

i can only click 'ok' button
After that a have a dialog when i can enter correct address "navision:7046/training"

can i specify this correct address for each new user connected on TS, without error message ?

Registry ? gpo ? config file ?

Thank for your help.

Benoit.

Resolved.

I have found a solution to the problem of Navision Startup error message.

The configuration file for RTC client is on %AppData%\..\Local\Microsoft Dynamics NAV\ClientUserSettings.config
This file is create automatically on first startup with default parameters.

After search on server, I have found the default config file used by NAV when User doesn’t have.

I have just change the default config file with correct values..
%ProgramData%\Microsoft\Microsoft Dynamics NAV\ ClientUserSettings.config

Delete profile on server with wrong config file

And wne new user connect to TS, the default config file is copied on own AppData

regards,

Benoit.
