Hello Experts

I have a client that has several Quickbooks company data files. They are all around 40 - 50 megs. All of them run fine execpt one. It runs a lot slower then the rest. QB is installed on a Windows 7 Core i5 with 4 gigs of ram. The files are stored locally, virus free and all updates on windows and QB side have been run. Any ideas what to check?

The files are not too big, the computer is fast enough, the files are local (on the fast computer) and one only is slow.

Make a backup of the QuickBooks data file and then do a Rebuild of the data file (QB, File, Utiliies, Rebuild). There may be errors in the file.

Also defrag your hard drive just in case the particular QB file is spread all over. Doing a rebuild should correct this anyway.  .... Thinkpads_User
