Hi

In VB.net 2010 I have to ceate a column of buttons like that
shown in the VB6 image. What is the best control or way to do this
to get a good looking set of buttons

You could use a TabControl and associate an ImageList with it.  Change the Appearance() property to Buttons or FlatButtons, and the Alignment() property to Top or Left.

If you don't want a TabControl, then you could use a ToolStrip that is Docked to the Left.  Change DisplayStyle() on the ToolStripButtons to "Image and Text".
