Hello,

I see errors Event 53 in the Application log related to SharePoint 2010 Search Server. This occurs when there is a incremental crawl.

Log Name:      Application
Source:        Microsoft-SharePoint Products-SharePoint Server Search
Date:          4/4/2012 3:07:37 AM
Event ID:      53
Task Category: Search service
Level:         Error
Description: Could not create a database session.

Can you offer suggestions on how to resolve this error?

Thanks.

Have the credentials the Search Service used to access the database changed or expired?

Does this help;

I reset the account for the search service, but no change.

Within SharePoint 2010 Central Admin, I can do a munaul full crawl and that completes.

I have scheduled a Full Crawl at 11:00 pm, and this is when I see the errors in the Event Log. Crawl Log says NO crawling occurred at that time. Below is another error:

Event ID 57

A database error occurred. Source: Microsoft SQL Server Native Client 10.0 Code: 0 occurred 1 time(s) Description: No value given for one or more required parameters.

Context: Application 'Search_index_file_on_the_search_server'
