Every time we launch the web interface for Citrix Xenapp it prompts with "do you want to open or save launch.ica from ctx.spcala.com"

Can this be set somehow so it is automatic?

Is ctx.spcala.com your Web Interface server?

What do you mean by "launch the web interface"? Do you mean opening your web browser and navigating to your Web Interface?

Check this article which resolves the issues with IE 9:
http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX129082

specifically go to the workaround section where you need to disable ActiveX filtering and add the web site to the trusted sites (or Local Intranet) zone.

The Citrix online plug-in soilved the problem.  I have 40 computers I need to get set up.  So all I need to do is run the plug-in on each and I should have no problems?

What online plug-in you are referring to?

If this resolved your issue then test it on a couple of other PCs to confirm the resolution - then yes by all means deploy it for the rest.

the the webinterface creates the launch.ica for you.
it contains the nessesary informations to start the application you clicked.
the article from Mutawadi describes how to download and use the lainch.ica with the Citrix-client engine without asking the user.

it is not an error - only a security restriction within some browsers or OS that can be tuned.
