"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

sometimes the .net cache cause this problems.
shutdown iis and delete (rename) the cache.
somewehere within the following path:
C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v???\Temporary ASP.NET Files\your site name
restart IIS
clear the local browser cache (dont know why but nessesary at my notebook)

possible some Virusscanner or local firewall produce tis error.
(seen with symanted endpoint protection or MCAfee)

Before I start deleting things I want to be crystal clear.  In the Temporary ASP.NET folder I have citrix_pnagent and citrix_xenapp.  Delete 1 or both?

Dirk KotteSECommented:
rename the folder. if your weninterface not work it is "citrix_xenapp" . You font this within the path of your website.
afrer renaming - start IIS  and opening the website , this folder are recreated and filled.

but you can rename booth. this cost you only some additional seconds at the next site-opening.
