OWA Autocomplete not working

Hello Experts,
Autocomplete works fine on outlook clients but does not work on the OWA.  I am running Exchange 2010 on Windows 2008 R2.
President of the company really likes the autocomplete on the outlook client but wants OWA to work the same.
Please help.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

OWA autocomplete is actually associated with user mailbox.
does your users have profile where they download mails?
just configure the outlook profile without cache mode... and try to send mails to different users.. then you can try the same names in the owa and see if it works ...

the profile exists but maybe my question is too vague.  When he uses the full Outlook client on his desktop at the office and starts typing an email address, outlook brings up a list of recent contacts too choose from.  When he does this at home on the OWA client, it does not bring up the recent contacts - he has to type in the complete address.
Hope that clarifies the issue a bit.

It turns out that the OWA light weight version does not include the autocomplete feature.
