SSIS Dataflow merge join and sort tranfomation (fully block performance)

Hi,
Currently working with Dataflow task in ssis having an issue with merge join.

merge join always require sorted property o set true.

then if we want to use multiple merge join then we have use sort tranformation which is fully block so which reduces the performance.

Is there any way to overcome these problem.

Thank in Advance.

Hi,

For sorting incomming rows ,instead Sort Transformation .you can set the sort operation in OLD DB source .
check the below link

http://www.ssistalk.com/2009/09/17/ssis-avoiding-the-sort-components/

if suppose you are doing any join opeartion use Look up ... this is fast in performance wise .

by using the above you can redirect your matching and nonmatching rows like merge join .

if you want more information , pleaae let me know your Scenario.
