Hi.

I have a spreadsheet on GoogleDocs with a list of e-mails (and other information) of the members of an association.

I also created a Google Group so I have a generical e-mail address.

Can I add automatically the e-mails I have on GoogleDocs to this Google Group ? Maybe by using Google Apps script ?

Thanks.

There is no Google Groups API that can do this programatically. There is also no import function to import addresses from GDocs or from an excel sheet. I guess your best bet is to copy and paste addresses directly into member invite box on Google Groups.

Good Luck!

You are right about Google Apps Scripting but currently that does not work with Google Groups.

(https://developers.google.com/apps-script/guide). Hopefully this will put things in the right perspective for you.

Google Applications You Can Access Using Google Apps Script:

Google Apps Script includes objects and methods for controlling data in the following applications.

Google Spreadsheets
Google Document List. This is experimental.
Gmail Contacts
Google Finance
Google Calendar
Google Sites
Google Maps. This is experimental.
