Event Log Redirection

I have about 100 Windows servers that I just inherited.  They're all a mix of physical and virtual.  I wanted to see about a way to centralize Event logs.  Are there any good software programs for redirecting all the Event logs  from the servers (mix of 2003 and 2008 R2 - surprisingly no regular 2008)?  Something that would include alerting and reporting features.

I've done research online and see plenty of options.  I was posting this to the experts to see if from personal experience, does anyone have a pros and cons list for any particular programs?  Anyone have any advice on which one is better than the next?  I'm not worried about pricing but would need to eventually figure out licensing costs (not asking experts to do pricing for me - I can do that on my own - mentioning that so I get all suggestions regardless of cost).
