VMWare VCenter License Transfer

Hi,

I recently purchased from VMWare Website "VMware vSphere 5 Essentials Kit for 3 hosts (Max 2 processors per host) and 192 GB vRAM entitlement" for $560.
With that I have two questions:

 (1) Can I buy the same license cheaper via like Ebay or any other source? Just like you can buy Retail Version of Windows Servers at Full Retail price or you can get the same at significantly less at Ebay.
 (2) If you installed this software on one computer, how how many other computers can you install and activate license on? Like when you buy Microsoft Windows 2008 Server Retail version, you can pretty much install it on a few different servers without a problem. I like to understand what I am allowed from legal standpoint and what is possible practically.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

1. It is possible to purchase VMware licenses from a VMware Resellers or VMware Partner that are prepared to discount, and beat VMware Direct Website prices. However, I would not recommend purchasing VMware licenses from eBay, I would recommend you contact a VMware Reseller or VMware Partner, to ensure your licenses are not Counterfeit.

2. VMware vSphere 5 Essentials Kit, entitles you to use 3 Hosts and 1 vCenter server. If you apply the licenses again to more servers, you are in breach of the license agreement. e.g. 1 Microsoft Windows 2008 R2 Server License = 1 Server/Computer.

All versions of VMware vSphere can be installed and evaluated for 60 days, without the need for a License. The same is true of VMware vCenter Server.
