powershell to add AD groups as Site collection administrators

Hi,

I have thousands of site collections and i need to add two AD security groups as Site Collection Administrators. Please help me with powershell command to perform the same.

Both links are to add user accounts and not the AD groups. Hence i will request to provide a script for adding AD groups. Has anyone ever done this?
