Steps to setup outward facing Intranet (Extranet) with WSS 3.0 sp3

Got a .me domain & SSL cert ready to go that I am hopeful to point towards a mirror of our internal Intranet that would be available to employees for access on the road and from home.  Anyone have a  quick and dirty step by step on how to accomplish this?

Thanks,

Steven

If you are not currently accessing your site via https, you'll have to add an alernate Access Mapping to your web application for the https address.  After, you'll need to install your SSL cert on your web server(s), and add a Binding in IIS for your site, for the https address.

That's about it as far as SharePoint.

Something to consider, however, is that when any type of Email notification leaves SharePoint, it will contain URL's using the Default zone URL.  You can edit this, however, using the SharePoint Admin kit.

Thanks Ach1lles, I'll try it and update the question if I hit a speedbump.
