Hi,

We have a mac mini server with sharepoints (Leopard)

Client is a Lion macbook pro.  I connect to a server share, navigate to a certain folder and only see SOME of the files and folders (others appear missing).  On the files that are there, I go to open them and they open in read only mode.

So I go to another machine, our conference room mac mini and authenticate same username and all the files are visable.

Office 2011 is fully updated and so are the macs

I have used a widget to view hidden files and the only hidden file is thumbs.db

So here was this issue

1)  The share was browsed by a PC which someone messed things up
2)  The file names had ( ) / in the names which work on a mac but not a PC and after removing those files all was well in the world!
