Hi all,
I am running Backup Exec 2010 r3 and I have SQL and Exchange servers running. Backup Exec is throwing warning sign stating I need to configure T-Log backup and truncates. My question is can someone walk me thru that and can i run the t-log backup and truncate on a different day than the database backups?

Thanks

You need to create a new job. In that job, in the SQL options, you need to specify that it should be a transcaction log backup with log truncate.
You can indeed run this log backup on other days than the db backup.
