Problem for use chkpass

I have postgres 9.0  on Centos 6.2 64 bit , I  am trying create table using chkpass but give follow  error message

postgres=# create table test (p chkpass);
ERROR:  type "chkpass" does not exist
LINE 1: create table test (p chkpass);
                             ^

I have installed postgresql90-contrib the library chkpass was installed with sucess .

rpm -ql postgresql90-contrib |grep ch
/usr/pgsql-9.0/bin/pg_archivecleanup
/usr/pgsql-9.0/bin/pgbench
/usr/pgsql-9.0/lib/chkpass.so
/usr/pgsql-9.0/lib/fuzzystrmatch.so
