IE8 Anchor Link not working

It is pretty simple, but it is driving me nutts.

I have this site:

http://mydomain.com/client/verde.php

Try it in Chrome, FF or even IE7
After the introductory animation, when you click the "3.1","3.2", etc it links to a specific position in a table, defined by an id.

However if you try it in IE8 it simply doesn't work. Is there any workaround you can think of?

It's a known MSIE 8 bug :(
It won'be fixed in 8, as they alredy have release IE9 which has this fixed.
Workaround:

intead of try

IE8 seems to need something inside for the anchors to work.

I am now seeing some erratic behavior on FF as well. Has anybody tried it? How is it working? In firefox it is pointing to the right anchor then immediately returning to the top of the table. Any suggestions?

Asavah, I have tried your suggestion without any luck.

Hmm I'm at home now , don't have a machine with ie8 here.
And about firefox , it's sad but i'm using FF 14.0a1 nigthly and I could reproduce the behaviour you're talking about, yes, it's pointing to the right anchor then immediately returning to the top, strange.
Tomorrow at work I will take a closer look at it.
