This is a complete beginners question about REST.

Can data be passed to a REST service as content fields... i.e. not in the url but more like form data?

Thanks.

Hi

Yes you can pass it with POST instead via URL with GET. You can find some examples here
http://rest.elkstein.org/2008/02/using-rest-in-php.html

There are other examples as well for different languages.
