Word has some file locations that can be changed.

@DoDahD (great name by the way :-) Thanks for checking this out for me. Actually I solved it myself. I had installed an Avery Template which screwed up my startup as well . I removed the &quot;ghost&quot; elements from the Building Blocks folder and now it's working fine. But

Hopefully will get some help on this. When I open up a new document in Word and go to add a header or footer I get the following message &quot;&nbsp;Word cannot open this document template&quot; with the path underneath. However if I persist, it does open up...it's an annoyance more than anything but would like to get it sorted...thank you!
