Server password not known

I have a windows 2003 server which i do not know the password for. This machine is a domain controller. I do have carbonite running which has all the data backed up, i really don't want to reload the machine and restore all the data. Is there a way to clear this password without having to reload?

I was doing some research on my own and found similar answers with the 2 links you provided, this seems to be the right answer, i'll attempt later but am very confident this will fix the problem
