Running FM Pro Server7 an SBS 2000 server.  Server has 2 network cards.

Is there anyway to disable FM from broadcasting on one of the network cards?

The only possibility I can think of is if one of the cards uses a different subnet. My experience has generally been that FMS broadcasts only to the local subnet and that computers that are on the same LAN but not the same subnet can't see the server as a "Local Host" but have to enter the IP address to connect. Not sure whether this characteristic is valid in all situations or whether you can take advantage of it in yours.

By the way, FileMaker is specifically NOT qualified to run on SBS Servers. There are known issues, in particular with SharePoint and Web Publishing. People do run FMS on SBS but you're definitely asking for trouble.

Thanks for the input.  Perhaps thats why it broadcasts on both NIC's.  If i upgrade server software, perhaps that would solve issue.  Seems to be the only one i have encountered.
