I have a computer with 2 hard drives.  I already have Excel 2010 32 bit on one hard drive.  Is there a way to install Excel 2010 64 bit on the other hard drive, without removing Excel 32 bit?

No it is not possible. 64-bit app can not coexist with its 32-bit app.
Note: What you can do is create a virtual machine (using VMware) and install whatever Excel version you require.
