"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

1.  Simply install no applications on the server and publish no applications from that server.  In XenApp 6.5, you would also select the Collector and Session-host mode option when configuring the server.
2.  No, it is not required.
3.  You are good without it.
4.  See #1.  XML Broker and Data Collector are used to mean the same thing.  They technically are not.
