Facebook Rewards Program
I am new to developing for Facebook so please excuse my broad range of questions.
I want to implement a Facebook "rewards" program for my company similar to what is here.
Basically, our customers will be able to associate with us on Facebook and allow us to post to their walls. In return, they will earn reward points towards their future purchases.
What do I need to set up for this? Originally, I thought I needed to create a canvas application (I have been messing around with this), but the company already has a Facebook Site so is it only a matter of setting up an Open Graph application (like here)?
Once that question is settled I also need to know if I can have users enter a code or some additional information when they "sign up" for our application in order to associate them with the appropriate account in our database.
I have many more questions, but if I can wrap my head around these two questions then I think I'll be on the right track!
