Windows SBS 2011 backup failed.

I cannot configure a brand new server with a second backup disk. The error I am getting when trying to add a new backup destination is;

the server cannot configure the backup schedule. pleae try again. if the problem persists please contact technical support.

is the backup disk size is matching your physical  disk size.

its a 2tb backup disk so there is no issue with space. The disk is brand new. I have managed to successfully configure one of the two backup disks onto the server. both disks are identical.

Microsoft looking into the issue as the drives are failling to configure.
