HP Procurve 5406zl Switch - How to reboot (Web Interface/Command Prompt)
Im new to the HP Switches, i need to reboot on this Friday evening. I have saved the config via write mem command. I want the config to stay on there when i reboot. What is the command to reboot this switch.

Sorry...I have a bunch of questions...When is says device reset? Does it actually reset it, like to a default config or factory settings or does it actually just reboot and keep the current config? Thanks again.
No. It's a reboot.
The only way to reset the config is to issue a write erase and then reload the switch.
I suggest that you refer to the 5400 Management and Configuration Guide. It has all of this information.
