changing the sent from domain

i am trying to do this:

if a user sends an email to to change it using a transport rule or event sync script to send it to

in 2003 we used a vbs script but in 2010 it doesnt work the same. the reason is we use a fax system and we changed the provider, we kept the numbers but it sent to a new domain.

so we have this when the user sends mail
it then goes to
