Dell 6248 add VLAN ports

I have two Dell 6248 units in a stack and have created a VLAN with id 10 for vMotion Traffic.  I want to add 6 ports on switch2 to this vlan but when I add the ports, it looks like the same ports from both switches are being assigned.  How do I setup this vlan as private/community and only assign the 6 individual ports on switch2?

I have also read that assigning the ports to the vlan in a stack actually adds the ports on both switches since they are actually operating as one and if one of the switches in the stack fails, then the vlan is automatically available on the other switch.  If this is the case, then my configuration is actually correct as is.  Just need to clarify that scenario as well.
