Pictures in Word attachments in Outlook 2007 dissappear except in preview mode.  The customer can get a word attachment in Outlook 2007, if he chooses the option to "preview file", the pictures appear fine, if he chooses to OPEN the attached word document the pictures in it appear blank.  Please let me know what settings to change to correct this.  This is on a Windows 7 Enterprise Edition computer running Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2007 (12.0.6539.5000) SP2 MSO (12.0.6562.5003)

When you say blank > does it have a red x as in a place holder?  If so,

File (Backstage View) > Options > Advanced > Scroll to Shiow document content > uncheck show picture placeholders

Make sure show drawings and text boxes on screen is checked.

Hi.  No, no red x, just totally blank.  I'll try the steps though.  Thanks.

In Word since it is Word that's opening the document to be viewed.
