I need to have access to Roaming profiles folders. Is there a scrip that i can use to allow domain admins access while not messing with the user permissions?

in server 08 you would use icacls:

icacls "\\PATH\to\share" /grant USERNAMEorGROUP:M /t

M=Modify rights (doesnt replace them
/t = including subdirectories

run logged on as Domain Admin from elevated command prompt

getting an "\%usernames%: Access is denied."

You have to setup the icacls to run as a user process (login script)
There is a GPO settings computer configuration\administrative templates\system\user profiles
add the administrators group
This will add admins to the roaming profiles on the server when they are initially created.

GPO for users
user configuration\windows settings\scripts
login

Or provide the users with a bat files that they would run to do the task.
Presumably there may have been a reason for not including administrators with access to the redirected profiles.
