Hi There,
Seems we have an OLE Problem, but I'm not sure where to start with fixing it.

"quote " gets stuck trying to open embedded excel quote in word, then she used task manager to quit word  OLE   word is waiting for another application to complete an OLE action

Microsoft office word can't start the application required to open the object. An error occurred and the this feature is no longer functioning properly. would you like to repair this feature now.
asked to repair , told yes, said Installing application server using word 2003

C:\programfiles(x86)\Event1\Office connector\ is missing  she closed the window

WHen you "end microsoft excel in task manager, it all of a sudden is then editable in word… go figure…

Any ideas on what is causing this or what we can do to solve it quickly?  This is a new (in the fall) windows 7 64bit computer running on a SBS2003 Domain with Office 2003 on the local computer, all documents stored in user folders on the server.
Thanks,
Dave

So is this an Event1 Software template you are trying to use?  If so you need their Office Connector installed:
