Problem with Setting up Virtual XP Session in Win 7

We have a Windows 7 workstation which we need to setup and run a virtual XP session on.  We need to run Quickbooks 2006 on this workstations virtual XP mode.  We went through the wizard for XP mode and it created a session.  We loaded QB within the sesssion but when we try to open the data file which is on the network it fails.  Since I have never set up this XP mode before I dont know if it was done correctly.  I want to be able to login to the network through the XP mode in order to gain access to the network drives.  When the seesion starts it defaults to a xpuser login with no domain listed.  If I try to login with any other user name it does not work.

Need some help on this one.

Thanks,

Ray
