I need to be comparing two entirely different projects against each other, and wonder if I can do what I normally do with Visual Studio: open there IDE two times, once for each project?

Thanks.

I don't think, you can debug two different project simultaneously on iOS simulator. Probably not.

If you need two instance of Xcode running, use Terminal:
open -n \Applications\Xcode.app

This command will launch the second instance:
2 Xcode instances

Thanks.  I do not need to debug both just open both and visually compare them.

Thanks.

You can open two projects in one Xcode and just switch between the windows.
