Internet Explorer 32 and 64bit Group Policy

How can I deploy Internet Explorer settings to both 32 and 64 versions of Internet Explorer 8 or 9. I have read MS KB articles there are know issues of applying internet explorer proxy settings to 64 bit versions of internet explorer. Please help

-what articles did you read?
-why would you need the 64 bit IE?

The Microsoft KB article I'm referring to is 952031.

It's not that I need the 64bit version of IE but I do have 64bit OS on my network and IE 64bit seems to be the default over the 32bit version.

No. No it ain't. So no worries. It even can't be set as default if you wanted to.

Now i read the article. Are you sure you got it right? The issue described only matters if you are trying to set the proxy settings per machine. Why not set it per user, that's how one would normally do it.
