Hello All,

I know how to passprotect vba code using this solution
http://www.experts-exchange.com/Software/Office_Productivity/Office_Suites/MS_Office/Q_10406117.html

But the question is – if I had to change the vba code later – how do I do it – like unlocking the vba code? How?

So far every time I lock the vba code and exit out of the excel file and reopen it, I don’t see anything in the vba editor- how to unlock  the vba code and then be able to view the code in order to change it?

Thanks

Another question - when i right click on a module and select to go to vba project > protect password, does that locks all the modules...like lets all 5 modules or only that module where I did the right click to go to vba project properties and do the password lock?
Or do i need to do this procedure for all the individual modules? the protecting process? to ensure all modules are locked and loaded.

Hello,

If you want to edit the protected VBA code, double click the project in the VBE. You will be prompted for a password.

If you want to change that password:
hit Alt-F11 to open the VB Editor.
Right-click the VBA project and select "VBA Project Properties"
Click the Protection tab and change the password there.

>> Another question

The VBA code protection applies to the whole project, not individual modules.

Thank you teylyn so much :)
my excel is noe protected but only if third party hacker software is not used to hack into the excel...at least this will work. Lets hope the users are not that geeky to use those hacking machineries...but I can only hope...
