Is there an easy way to do it?

I have to repair the op Sys.

I try and on final step upgrade is disabled.

Need sp2.

If it's a legacy manufacturer like Dell, I would look to buy current install media without a CoA either from the manufacturer or on an auction site like ebay.

I don't see any way to download an ISO of the retail Vista w/SP2 DVD from microsoft without paying $700 for an annual MSDN or TechNet subscription.

I should add that if SFC is telling you the DVD you have is the wrong version, putting SP2 on a Vista DVD via the slipstream method won't fix that.
