Linked mailbox migration from exchange 2007 SP2 to Exchange 2010 SP2

Anees007 used Ask the Experts™
I have one domain that consists of all the user and resources and then a secondary domain  which contains an exchange 2007 SP2 organization. All the mailboxes are Linked mailboxes  in Exchange 2007 environment.

I have no exchange 2010 server configured in the Exchange 2007 environment.

I plan migrate all the liniked mailboxes from the exchange 2007 to the exchange 2010 server.

Could you please share the steps to migrate the linked mailboxes from Exchange 2007 SP2 environment to home domain in Exchange 2010 SP2 environment.

Thanks for the link provided. however, i understand a script has to be created and run before exporting the mailboxes to the parent organisation.

Here are my queries below:

* As i am currently referring to linked mailboxes, should i be using ADMT V3.2 to relocate the objects in the parent domain?
* Would the sample script do the job in getting all the required exchange attributes for the existing objects
* Preparemoverequest script has already been run. So is this command alone enough to migrate the mailboxes using the new-moverequest
sorry for the delayed response. This is what was finally done to resolve the issue.

* As we had linked mailboxes, objects which were in disabled state were enabled. This led us to the scenario where we have users and mailboxes in other domain and user objects in the new domain.
* A modified script was run in order to import the required MS attributes from the other domain to the parent domain
* New-moverequest command was used to migrate the mailboxes from the other domain to the parent domain.

We had worked this out in our environment
