NEC PCI to USB controller driver

Hello,

I cannot get some PCI add-on card, a five port USB PCI card to work - the driver, a NEC PCI to USB controller driver seems to be wrong. I uninstalled it several times, even removed the device, had it installed again - without success.
I guess this is a common error, although I cannot find a solution online.
My motherboard has the latest drivers and bios patches.

Does anybody have a correct driver or solution for this?

Thanks

Interesting approach - didn't know about this one yet. However, I copied
PCI\VEN_1033&DEV_0035&SUBSYS_010514C2&REV_43 but I am getting to those pages where you are being offered driver update scanners.

I am wondering - this should be a very basic driver that Microsoft provides - why am I unable to get the latest version?
I only took a quick look but it appears this is an older device, it is possible it is not supported by Win7. Try to update the driver using Windows Update and see if that yields any results.

Been there, done that. Windows has determined that the driver software is up to date.

Hi Nobus,
I have a similar driver scanner from System Mechanic. According to that one, all drivers are OK and up to date. Is this one different? Don't want to install unnecessary software.

i don't know - since i don't use system mechanic
you can always install it - check what the result is - and if not satisfactory, uninstall it

Tried it. Didn't work with this one too.

the only suggestion i have is testing the card on another,  working PC - the card may be bad..or not compatible, or a bad pci slot - did you try other pci slots?

That worked: Had to get another card, didn't have that driver issue.
Thanks!
