windows 2007 - excel 2007 print settings
in excel 2007, under the page setup, under the "sheet" tab. The "print area" and "print titles" areas are disabled (will not allow me to select rows to repeat at the top of every page).
Please let me know how to change the settings so I can select these options when printing.

Click on the Office "Funny" button (top left button) and select Excel Options. Once the Excel Options open, Trust Center is a menu on the left side. Then click on the Trust Center Settings button. This will show you the Privacy options. The same thing is true in Word.
Please let us know if that does not get you to the Trust Center and then to the Privacy Options.

Just a thought - make sure you don't have more than one sheet tab selected when you try to set print area - this would definitely make the page setup icon greyed out.

Try doing a Repair of Office. Go to Trust Center, Privacy Options, and check (select) the option to Download a File periodically from Microsoft. Then go to Help, Run Diagnostics and allow to complete.
See if that helps. These options are available to Standard Users, but the Repar may need Admin authority.
If a repair does not help, check a different Windows User Profile (userid) as the issue could be profile corruption.
Also consider uninstalling, restarting, and reinstalling Office 2007.
