I bought the model NAS200. I can't detect it on my network.

I read something about the network need to be in 192.168.1.* but my router resides on 192.168.0.1

If you do not know its IP address, then run the Setup Wizard from CD. Also you can login on your router  web interface to see dhcp client list and find NAS200 Ip Address.
Here you can find user guide: http://homedownloads.cisco.com/downloads/userguide/1224638534997/NAS200_V10_UG_B-WEB.pdf

Problem is NAS200 cannot be detected over the network.

I have include the result after scanning with the setup cd.

nas200 problem!
Pressing the reset button on the back (to the right of the  USB ports) for 2 seconds will cause it to ask the DHCP server for a new address. It has no default address... if a DHCP server is not available it takes an address in the APIPA (169.254.x.x /16) range.

You have to hold in the reset button for 10 seconds to reset configurations, so if you just hold it in for a thousand-one, thousand-two, thousand-three count it should trigger the DHCP request without having to worry about losing all its settings.

It is connected to your LAN with a proven good patch cord and there are available IPs from the DHCP server, right?

Is Cisco Nas ethernet  conected to your router? If yes login to your web interface of your router as you said http://192.168.0.1. There search for DHCP client list or something like that. If you can not find anything post here a screen shot from router web interface.  As an alternative use http://www.radmin.com/products/ipscanner/  IP scanner and you will find all your clients from network ip addresses

Can't seem to install it. I'll accept all for multiple solutions since it's been so long already. Will ask again soon when I get around to installing it.
