Event ID 43029 simply says "Display in not active", Some users reported this as being recorded after an upgrade to Windows 7. The computer in question was not compatible with this version of Windows.

So Download and installed very latest ATI driver.

I think you Upgrade your Windows Vista (To Windows 7 )rather then Clean installation.

You should still have the option to install it as a clean install rather than upgrade. Take a look and see. A clean install could fix the problem for you.

I am using windows 7 for the last one year and no issues at all. recently i have formatted pc and installed windows 7 and done all updates

this is happening after that and laptop is getting restarted immediately after this error

either the driver  software is bad, or the video card has problems
what was the reason for formatting the PC?  it may help troubleshooting

>>  of frequent restart  <<  but you did not look into the cause first?
then you found it now : bad hardware probably

you can easily test if the video works ok, if you boot from a live cd, and change resolutions etc... here a Knoppix cd to use :  ftp://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/knoppix/KNOPPIX_V6.7.0CD-2011-08-01-EN.iso

if that runs ok -  the hardware is ok, if not, it is bad
