Hi,

There is a option to increase the hard disk size for vm guest, we are running linux os. If we increase, do we need to go to command prompt and add this disk as additional disk using fdisk or parted ? How does it work?

Basically, when we increase the virtual disk size, it take the space from vmfs and assign it to virtual machine?

Thank  you, it worked but.  I have increased from 20 GB to 50 Gb, but I can only add 7 GB, rest of them I can't add.
