Hi,
I am trying to implement something like the following for individial accounts.. Is there any way to implement this in classic asp? Pls help!


www.example.com/accounts/1233 (where 2133 is a account id... which could be anything in the database).

sure can, if you're using IIS7, you can implement the url rewriting functionality it includes:

http://www.iis.net/download/urlrewrite

othberwise you can use a 3rd party tool for free:

www.isapirewrite.com

Thank you for your comments... I have IIS 7 (with classic asp)... Though this link provide information like what url rewrite does, it doesn't explain how to implement it... could you please provide an example to implement the same?

at the bottom of the page, there are some links on how to use it and where to get it from if you dont have it already. First check to see if you have it by going into the Add/Remove-->Windows Components-->IIS and see if its listed in there (I cant remember if it is or not), if not you can download it from http://learn.iis.net/page.aspx/460/using-the-url-rewrite-module/
