Move local user profile to domain user profile
We have computers that are not on the domain, we want to add them and move the local user profiles to their domain profiles.
How do we do this?

Where do you plan on having the domain profile path stored - locally on the workstation or on a server?
ASKER
They will be stored on the server.
Look into USMT to help automate this effort:

So you are going to be using Roaming profiles?
What I would do Join the computer to the domain.
Logon with that user account so the profile is created.
Then Logoff and back on as an Adminsitrator of the machine and copy the profile from one to the other.
If this user is setup for Roaming then this should also sync with the central location.
To copy a profile Right click the Computer or My Computer and select Properties > Advanced System Settings > User Profiles and press the Settings Button > Select the local profile of the user and press Copy To and select the domain profile.
