what's eating up all my space on the c drive windows 7 in windows folder?

pretty new win 7 pro machine.  250GB c: drive.  it's almost full because of 189GB in the windows folder.  what's up wiht that?!

See if most of that is in the c:\windows\winsxs folder BUT DON'T DELETE ANYTHING IN THAT FOLDER at least not yet...

most of the time windows updates including service pack updates + log files may do that
just in case make sure you did not force  the backup on the same drive :)

i heard about the winsxs folder issue (what's the resoluition anyway?).

but my mistake (great little app, thanks!), it was a lot of my own docs. duh
