Can a user in MS SQL Server 2008 have write permissions to only one table in the database?

I have a database that has 3 custom tables for an 'add on'.  I need the 'add on' to be able to write to the 3 custom tables but have read only permissions for the rest of the tables.

Is this possible or do I need to split the data into 2 different databases?

Thanks!

Permissions can be set at the object level including table level, so you can give a user different permissions to different tables.
It would probably wise for you to use a schema do some research on schemas as it allows for better security management.
