Is there a way to generate a report on usage and adoption of Lync? The built in reports via the Monitoring server aren't really giving us the details that we want. We can't see the actual user accounts that are logging and using lync. We just deployed Lync and want to see how we it has been adopted in the initial pilot. Or if we can get this data off of the database, which one and which table? Is it the rtclocal on the FE server or the rtcdyn on the backend server?

Thank you

Unfortunately the Monitoring Reports are the best you are going to get to my knowledge.  The backend of Lync is not, shall we say, user friendly.  It is not worth, nor is it advised, to go digging around there too much.  This has been a VERY common issue and so far there is no real good resolution.

There is a Resource Kit that has a Log analysis tool that is really good, but will not yield exactly what you need.  But it may be useful for something else you are doing.  Find info here:
