Need to convert a Cent OS 5 VMware virtual machine into a Microsoft Hyper-V machine

I received the Cent OS 5 virtual machine in a single zip file.

I would now like to convert or import it into a Microsoft Hyper-V machine.

I have already tried the Hyper-V import function, which doesn't work.

Is it possible to import a Cent OS 5 VMware virtual machine into a Microsoft Hyper-V machine?

Do I need any type of third party utilities to do this?

Please provide me with the exact steps on how this can be done.

First you need to convert the vmdk files to Hyper-V compatible format ie.vhd. You can follow the below post for doing it

One you have ur hyper-V compatible HDD ready, you should be able to create a new VM in Hyper-V and use the HDD
