I think the first stop would be your Thin client vendor/reseller, they should be able to advise you on what solution to buy for environment.

We have Wyse in our office the set up is simple as we still in the testing stages.

We have AD but it is utilized when the user logs in after the thin client has booted. Whether you have AD on not it should work for you  as well.

1. There is a WSM server that holds the ISO images to boot from and configuration
2. When the Thin client boots it loads the ISO assigned to it
3. There are multiple choices of desktops to choose from (disk less,  cached mode and so on)

thanks for your comments.i dont want to use 3rd party products. i want to convert their desktop to thin clients
I don't believe that you are gonna get away form this with out using a third party software.

If you try to get away from paying for the software the take a look at Open Source Thin client, I haven't used it myself as we use WYSE, which was very easy to configure on our existing VM environment with the users using roaming profiles. This allowed us to swop between thin clients and normal machines.

Perhaps you can tell use why you don't want to use third party and maybe there is another work around that can help you?
